Day 5: What About Works?
Some people think that if salvation is a gift, people will act as if they have a license to sin. That, however, is not how love and gratitude work.

Day 1: What About Works?
An important religious topic is the role a person’s good works play in their salvation.

Covered in Christ
Scripture often compares heaven to a wedding banquet. It makes sense. It is one of the most joyous occasions we know here on earth.

Does God have a case against me?
Will you be declared “not guilty”? How can we be sure of our status?

What will happen to you on Judgment Day?
When you stand before God, will you point to your own righteous character or Christ’s righteousness?

What is repentance?
The Greek word translated repent literally means to change your mind. That is also an accurate description of repentance. In modern terms, it is a change of mindset, a changing of your paradigm.

Do my works mean anything for my salvation?
One way I like to picture God’s holiness is as strong radiation. His holiness constantly is radiating out from him. By its very nature, it destroys anything imperfect with which it comes into contact.
